The Hayden Island Community Safety Initiative (CSI) is an Oregon Non-Profit formed to compile, analyze, and report safety & security issues affecting businesses and residences on Hayden Island, and to create a “Community Communication & Coordination Center” to share safety & security information and coordinate a response to address life safety issues when they occur.

Accurate data collection & reporting of safety & security issues on Hayden Island is critical in understanding & addressing those issues as soon as they occur. Sharing & discussing the data collected within the Hayden Island community & appropriate governmental agencies is also critical in seeking solutions for those issues. For that reason the Hayden Island Community Safety & Security Communication & Coordination Center has been organized to provide timely 2-way communication within the Hayden Island community to share & discuss the data collected, and to address those safety & security issues with the appropriate oversight agencies when they do occur.
